SPECIFIC COD-HY Allergen Management Plus is a complete, balanced hypoallergenic veterinary diet based on rice and hydrolysed salmon with uniquely high levels of fatty acids EPA, DHA and GLA, for optimal support of dogs with concurrent food allergy and atopy. Indicated for allergic dermatitis caused by atopy, food allergy, flea allergy or any combination, gastrointestinal disorders caused by food allergy or intolerance, inflammatory bowel disease, colitis, gastrointestinal problems, other fatty acid and nutrient-responsive dermatoses, and fatty acid-responsive inflammatory conditions such as colitis, asthma or arthritis. Suitable for puppies as well as adult dogs. Specially packed under a protected atmosphere to preserve the uniquely high levels of EPA, DHA and GLA. Use under veterinary supervision.
  • Hydrolysed salmon protein has high digestibility and low allergenicity for dogs with food sensitivities
  • Uniquely high levels of omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA from fish oil and omega-6 fatty acid GLA from borage oil to support the immune response and skin and coat condition in dogs with atopy

  • Very high quality and highly digestible ingredients especially useful for patients with small intestinal diarrhoea and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency
  • High fibre level, high digestibility and increased electrolytes for patients with gastrointestinal problems related to acute intestinal absorptive disorders and maldigestion
  • Psyllium husk — a gel-forming soluble fibre to support regulation of gastrointestinal tract activity
  • Complete and balanced to meet the nutrient requirements of growing and adult dogs — suitable for puppies
Rice, Rice Protein, Fish Oil, Hydrolysed Salmon Protein, Cellulose Powder, Minerals, Pork Fat, Protein Hydrolysate (below 10000 dalton), Vitamins and Trace Elements (including chelated trace elements), Borage Oil, Psyllium Husk, Rosemary Extract. Natural antioxidants (tocopherols and vitamin C). Contains no added artificial colours or flavourings.
Protein 23.0%, Fat 15.0%, Carbohydrate (NFE) 41.7%, Crude Fibre 5.0%, Calcium 1.08g, Phosphorus 0.88g, Sodium 0.28g, Zinc 16.8mg, Omega-3 Fatty Acids 2.34g, EPA 1.13g, DHA 1.04g, GLA 0.09g, Moisture 8.5%. Metabolisable Energy 1517 kJ/100g.
Daily individual requirements may vary depending on breed, environment, season and activity level. For dogs with gastrointestinal problems divide the daily ration into 3 to 5 meals per day. Not recommended for immuno-deficient dogs or dogs with coagulation abnormalities. Improvement in skin condition can typically be seen after 6 to 8 weeks, with full effect after up to 12 weeks.
