SPECIFIC CID-LF Digestive Support Low Fat is a complete veterinary diet specially formulated for dogs with acute and chronic gastrointestinal disease especially when benefit from low fat intake, pancreatitis, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, malabsorption, maldigestion, colitis, IBD, protein-losing enteropathy, lymphangiectasia, hyperlipaemia, cholestasis and adverse food reactions. The low fat content gives the pancreas a chance to rest and recover, while highly digestible ingredients ensure optimal nutrient absorption. Use under veterinary supervision.

  • Highly digestible ingredients using hydrolysed salmon protein and tapioca — low allergenicity ingredients suitable for adverse food reactions and feeding during periods of reduced intestinal gut barrier
  • High level of omega-3 fatty acids to provide precursors for the natural anti-inflammatory process and support immune status
  • Contains beta-1,3/1,6-glucans from yeast and mannan-oligo-saccharides to support the immune response and prevent pathogenic bacteria from binding to the intestinal wall
  • Fermentable fibres including beet pulp and FOS to promote growth of beneficial colonic bacteria for a healthy gastrointestinal tract
  • AuraGuard natural plant-based mixture and nucleotides to support healthy gut microbiome, immune response and barrier function of the gut

Daily individual requirements may vary depending on breed, environment, season and activity level. For dogs with gastrointestinal problems divide the daily ration into 3 to 5 meals per day.

It has helped out dog shake off a recurring stomach upset

This food was recommended by a vet for our dog to try in order to resolve an ongoing recurring stomach upset.
We had previously been advised by the vet to try her on different products which unfortunately did not work. We saw great improvement within days of feeding her on this product.
