SPECIFIC CID Digestive Support is a complete, balanced veterinary diet specially formulated for dogs with acute and chronic gastrointestinal disease with associated diarrhoea, vomiting and flatulence, exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, malabsorption, maldigestion, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth, colitis and convalescence. Highly digestible ingredients compensate for decreased intestinal enzymatic activity and ensure optimal nutrient absorption. Suitable for puppies as well as growing and adult dogs. Use under veterinary supervision.
  • Highly digestible ingredients for optimal nutrient absorption in dogs with gastrointestinal conditions including acute and chronic diarrhoea, vomiting and flatulence
  • High content of minerals and fat soluble vitamins to compensate for compromised absorption, with increased electrolytes for losses during diarrhoea and vomiting
  • Contains beta-1,3/1,6-glucans from yeast and mannan-oligo-saccharides to support the immune response and prevent pathogenic bacteria from binding to the intestinal wall
  • Fermentable fibres including beet pulp, XOS and FOS to promote growth of beneficial colonic bacteria for a healthy gastrointestinal tract
  • Contains zeolite which can absorb toxic components in the gastrointestinal tract
  • Yucca extract reduces the production of malodorous gases and faecal smell
  • Postbiotic yeast fermentation product and natural plant-based mixture for support of healthy gut and microbiome

Daily individual requirements may vary depending on breed, environment, season and activity level. For dogs with gastrointestinal problems divide the daily ration into 3 to 5 meals per day. For dogs with gastrointestinal disorders that benefit from a low fat intake, Digestive Support Low Fat is recommended.
