Royal Canin Ageing 15+ Senior Wet Cat Food Chunks In Gravy - 12 x 85g

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have an 18 year old cat that struggled with food and digestion. He is very fussy and usually only licks the gravy or jelly from the food and leaves the actual food. I tried him with Royal Canin 15+ food in gravy, and he ate the whole plate. It also seems to be helping with his digestion, and he has even gained a little weight, which was needed. He hardly has any teeth, and the texture and size of each piece were perfect for him. The size of each packet seems to be the perfect size for each meal as he isn't leaving any, and he's no longer begging for extra or different food. By switching to a senior food, I now no longer worry that he is getting the nutrients he needs for his age. Both my cat and I highly recommend this food.

I found him clearing the plate, where usually he would leave little bits behind. He really seemed to enjoy the size of the meat and the texture seemed easy for him to eat.

Having a fussy older cat, the Royal Canin was the first food, in a long time, that he has enjoyed. The gravy made it easier for him to eat and kept him hydrated at the same time. The sachets were perfectly sized for him.

I have noticed as she has gotten older that she does sometimes have trouble chewing some of her food so I was pleased to see that this food was made up of small pieces. She can sometimes be a bit fussy with new food, but she loved this from the first packet. As you can see from the short video clip, she wolfs it down with no issues chewing. I have only given 4 stars rather than 5 as it doesn’t smell particularly nice when you open the packet, but I suppose it is probably smells nice to cats. It doesn’t have loads of gravy in the packet, but there is enough to cover the meat pieces. I would be happy to purchase again for my cat now that I know that she likes it.

I’ve definitely noticed she has had more energy and her fur has become a lot softer. The quality is excellent, which is great especially for more senior cats. I loved these pouches for my cat and felt confident knowing that she was getting nutritious and well balanced meals that were appropriate for her age. The pouches do have quite a strong smell but you soon get used to it and my cat came running as they were opened. Overall, a fantastic product!

It is more expensive than regular cat food, but if it’s specially formulated to help keep my senior girl healthy, I think it’s worth the extra cost.

The pouches are designed like most other cat food pouches—they tear easily and squeeze neatly into a bowl. My cat can be quite picky when it comes to cat food, but she absolutely loves this and practically inhales it. It contains different-coloured meaty pieces in a thicker gravy, which clearly gets her seal of approval!

The texture seems perfect for her, as she has lost a lot of teeth over the years, and the quality of ingredients looked good to help maintain her health.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] My cat seemed to really enjoy this wet food for senior cats. The food is in a gravy sauce and has small chunks of meat mixed in. The chunks look more finely chopped than other brands we have tried which is good as she prefers this.

The smell isn’t overpowering and doesn’t make the whole kitchen smell of cat food. It isn’t as easy to get all the wet food out of the packet when it is gravy based compared to jelly, but overall looks good and my cat thinks it’s yummy!

She absolutely loves the consistency as all the little bits are the same size and she can eat it straight off., and boy does she love gravy. The little chunks in gravy went down really well and the bowl is practically empty after every meal whereas usually there is some leftover.
I was really pleased to see her enjoying it so much as it is great to know she is getting the relevant nutrients for a senior cat and her coat and eyes are looking brighter.
