SPECIFIC FDD-HY Food Allergen Management is a complete, balanced hypoallergenic veterinary diet with a restricted number of ingredients based on rice and hydrolysed salmon, specially formulated for cats with adverse food reactions resulting in dermatological and gastrointestinal disorders, food elimination trials, gastrointestinal problems such as diarrhoea, vomiting and flatulence caused by malabsorption and maldigestion, EPI and acute gastroenteritis, and inflammatory bowel disease. Can be used as an elimination diet when a homemade elimination trial is not feasible. Use under veterinary supervision.
  • Hydrolysed salmon protein has high digestibility and low allergenicity for cats with food sensitivities
  • Rice has low allergenicity and high digestibility — gluten free and suitable for cats with gluten allergy or intolerance
  • Very high quality and highly digestible ingredients especially useful for patients with small intestinal diarrhoea and exocrine pancreatic insufficiency
  • Increased levels of vitamins A, E and B complex, zinc and selenium for healthy skin and coat
  • Increased levels of vitamins, minerals and electrolytes to support cats with gastrointestinal problems
  • Psyllium husk — a gel-forming soluble fibre to support gastrointestinal tract regulation
  • Urine pH below 6.4 to support a healthy urinary tract
Rice, Rice Protein, Hydrolysed Salmon Protein, Pork Fat, Minerals, Powdered Cellulose, Vitamins and Trace Elements (including chelated trace elements), Protein Hydrolysate (below 10000 dalton), Fish Oil, Psyllium Husk, Taurine. Natural antioxidants (tocopherols, rosemary extract and vitamin C). Contains no added artificial colours or flavourings.
Protein 27.5%, Fat 12.5%, Carbohydrate (NFE) 42.8%, Crude Fibre 3.3%, Calcium 0.96g, Phosphorus 0.86g, Magnesium 0.050g, Sodium 0.42g, Omega-3 Fatty Acids 0.38g, Moisture 6.8%. Metabolisable Energy 1554 kJ/100g.
Daily individual requirements may vary depending on breed, environment, season and activity level. For cats with gastrointestinal problems divide the daily ration into 3 to 5 meals per day.
