Royal Canin Adult Shih Tzu in Loaf Wet Dog Food Pouches - 12 x 85g

My 12-year-old Shih Tzu absolutely loves the Royal Canin Shih Tzu Adult food. He can be quite sensitive when it comes to his diet, so I was really pleased that this food has been gentle on his stomach with no upset or digestive issues.
I’ve also been particularly happy with how well he has tolerated it despite having dry skin. It hasn’t aggravated the dryness, which is something I always look out for when choosing his food.
Most importantly, he clearly enjoys the taste and is always happy at mealtimes! 🐶❤️ The portioned pouches are also really convenient and make feeding an older, smaller dog nice and easy.
Overall, I’m really impressed. It’s great to find a food that my senior Shih Tzu genuinely enjoys, agrees with his tummy and suits his skin. Definitely a 5-star product from both of us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

He absolutely loves this, the texture is like a lightweight pâté, which my dog enjoys tremendously. This has good ingredients and it's a great addition to your doggy's diet or on its own. My dog enjoys this every time I feed him this, as he only likes wet food and this is part of his diet.

The smell’s not the nicest for humans, but they come running as the packets open, so they must like it. It’s easy to squeeze out of the packets and easy to mix.

He usually has a bit of his food and then leaves it and will go back to it afterwards but with this he will eat the whole bowl! His coat has grown so much since starting him on this food, I have had to book him into the groomers two weeks early 😅😅 the packaging is great and super easy to open and the food doesn’t smell half as bad as the wet food we used to buy! He doesn't usually have much of an appetite, and we normally leave his bowl of food on the floor for him to pick at throughout the day. However, we’ve had to move the bowl out of reach as his appetite has really picked up since starting these pouches.

He tends to have an unsettled stomach and would often throw up bile at night, but this has completely stopped since having these pouches. He's had a bit of a poorly eye lately, so has had to wear the cone of shame, but this hasn't stopped him from wolfing down his food. He is really happy with them!

We even managed to get him to take his medication by hiding it in the food. He took it straight away without any need to wrestle with him!

Product is great, I like how it is tailored to personal breeds to ensure enrichments are met. The food is a moist, juicy, pate at 85g a pouch. It breaks down easy and smells fresh/meaty.

This has honestly been life changing for our 13 year old Shih Tzu. Our dog tends to be a very fussy eater but he seems obsessed with this and licks his bowl clean every time ! The texture is just what he needs too as he doesn’t have many teeth left. He also seems so much more eager during meal times. This has won its place in our pantry and we will definitely be stocking up.

My bella was so happy to receive her new dog food she went straight in for a sniff and she approved with a wiggly tail. She normally leaves her evening meal as she is super fussy but she ate the lot and has eaten her 2 full meals a day for the whole week.

The smell is rather strong and filled the kitchen, which wasn’t the nicest, but our girls loved it and tucked straight in.

I put this down to her and she's been eating it straight away. I've given her 2 sachets as the portions are small, it reminds me of a pate type food and it's very smooth and was easy to mix in the bowl. I'm going to start getting this regular for her.

We’ve been struggling while waiting for this and, to be honest, didn’t have very high hopes. He did usually have loaf but had been off everything. This turns up, little faith… every little bit gone. The pouch is easy to open and the food easily glides out leaving hardly any food left in the pouch. Smell of the dog food is not overwhelming and it looks like top quality ingredients. Bella has emptied her bowl not a single bit left.

And he is usually really fussy but he’s cleared his plate everytime! It has a really soft texture which is great because they only have small teeth. We’ve been using this now for a good couple of weeks and we’ve really noticed a big difference in our Shih tzu’s coat! It’s made it super soft!

The food itself self is very wet and chunky which is ideal for small dogs. The portions are quite small size but on the back of each packet it states how much to feed, I find the pouches very easy to tear open which is great.

The food is good but the price for 12 small pouches is quite high. I use it sparingly.

He never leaves any of this food. The smooth loaf is easy for him to eat quickly and happily.
