Royal Canin Adult Golden Retriever Dry Dog Food - 12kg

I have recently swapped over to golden retriever royal Canin and they’re looking fab in it, their fur is thick and super soft and shiny. They woof it down at each meal.

My boy Asher has been having this for nearly 3 years since he grew too big to be on Puppy food (also Royal Canine) . He's always enjoyed it and his body weight and bowels are very healthy which is always a good sign. He's incredibly active and very fit on Royal Canine so I have to no plans to change it.

We were unable to get the brand we use in California here in the UK and made the switch. Ellis had no issues with the switch and seems to love it as much as his previous kibble.

I'm slowly introducing the food to my retriever and so far so good. He clearly enjoys it and definitely still has ample energy. There is nothing I can fault with it at the minute and everything points to this being really good for my dog

From the moment is was delivered our golden retriever Eric was very interested, he spent a long time sniffing the bag and seemed excited. We can normally be quite picky with food and even if it is a good he likes he doesn’t normally eat his serving at once and will pick at it. It was a completely different story with this! He absolutely loved it and ate it all at once. We’ve actually had to resort back to his slow feeder bowl as he was eating it a bit too quick! A definite hit in our house, have already ordered another bag and have made the switch permanently to this.

My golden retriever has had a lot of tummy issues with food so I was a bit nervous to try this one but also with it being specifically for Goldens I was very hopeful. No tummy troubles so far and my dog loves to finish his dish full every mealtime.

I couldn't be happier with the Royal Canine Golden Retriever dog food and neither could Caesar. From the moment the bag arrived, he was excited to give it a try. The packaging itself was not only eye-catching but also practical, with an easy-to-open design and a huge size. We did use it as treats at first so that he could get the taste To ensure a smooth transition, we gradually introduced the new food over a two-week period. I'm delighted to report that Caesar experienced no digestive issues during this time. I've noticed a remarkable improvement in Caesar's coat. It's become noticeably shinier and softer, a sure sign that the food is meeting his nutritional needs perfectly. In Caesar's book, this food is a solid 10/10. I couldn't agree more with his assessment.

My dog is quite fussy. She’s also sensitive to some foods. Not with this! She was super keen to eat this! We transitioned her slowly to prevent upset. Since eating Royal Canin Golden Retriever her coat and skin have improved. We have previously tried several other brands, including vet recommended ones. She is generally a happier dog. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

My Golden Retriever was over the moon to receive this food to try! The bag itself was eye catching, easy to open and a very good size. Sunny could not wait to try this dry dog food kibble. The pieces of kibble themselves were a good size and smelt okay, no overbearing or overly smelly like some dry foods do. We did the food change over, over a two week period to ensure that Sunny our Goldie did not get an upset tummy. He appeared to enjoy this food and it caused no gastrointestinal issues during the change over. He looks forward to every meal time and eats his meals right away so obviously enjoys this kibble. His coat appears much more shiny and soft since using this product so it obviously suits his needs. Sunny rates this 10/10

This food is quite large in size per kibble, it would only take a decent handful to fill your furry loved ones bowl. They smell like Beef and have a satisfying crunch to them. My princess has enjoyed them very much!

My golden retriever Honey can be a little cat like with food in that she can pick at her food, making it last for hours. I was really surprised to find even during the period of mixing her old food with the Royal Canin she became much more excited about dinner time and cleaned her bowl every time. We took around 2 weeks to transition her over fully and she continued to stay interested in the food. We have also seen a couple of other positive effects since she has been on the Royal Canin including her poops firming up, her coat feeling softer and looking glossier. This has put any scepticism I had to bed as it seems to be living up to its promises and most importantly, Honey loves it!

Our dog has had a history of being a little selective with food and will get bored of it after a while. This food is the first where that has not happened and she absolutely loves it. She gets excited for food time and devours it as quickly as possible. Other family members also have the same breed and use the same food without issues, so I would easily recommend this food to retriever owners.

Our golden retriever Molly was decidedly excited when this big old bag of food arrived for her. The bag itself is easy to open and seal, and once open the food was a big surprise. The kibbles are huge compared to what she's used to – no bad thing, just worth pointing out. We've been feeding Molly on Royal Canin Anallergenic because she's got a sensitive stomach and it's the only food that doesn't unsettle her. It's great, we just wanted to try out introducing something her insides had to work a little harder to digest and see how she got on. We introduced the food slowly, mixing it in with her existing kibble. It was pretty obvious she was picking out the new kibble first – who knows if it was tastier or just exciting because it was new, but in any case she seemed to love it. We've continued with a slow progression to the new food and so far there's been no negative side effects. She loves it, her coat looks good and, most importantly, she's still got lovely pick-up-able poos.

The Royal Canin food for Golden Retreivers is the best food. It is full of vitamins that are great to look after their health, skin and furry coats. Our dog is always looking forward to diner time and never leaves a crumb.

I’ve only recently adopted my retriever. I’ve been trying to find a better food for him. I was excited to try this breed-specific Royal Canin Golden Retriever. My dog was interested from the minute this arrived. Being a new-to-me dog, I’m doing lots of training, which means lots of treats. I like to use some of his food while out for this so decided to take some of these with us on our walk. My dog has never been so attentive!! He loves these biscuits so much, he would literally do anything for them. So much so, these have now been dubbed “golden retriever crack” in my house 😂 Sorry. RC. Transitioning to this food has been smooth and easy. No upset tums. I feel like my golden is more alert and has more energy. The food has a pleasant smell and nice big kibble size. All in all, this has gone down a “treat”. Definitely a hit with my golden. Beware if you do purchase though, your dog might not leave your side with this in your pocket 😂

My two golden retrievers can't get enough of this food. It's perfectly tailored to the breed and they clearly find it delicious. It's great for their digestion and we've had no problems at all since switching their diet. Their fur and skin are also looking in great condition. My dogs are different ages but they both get on really well with it. I also love that it's nutritionally complete so we don't have to mess around with any supplements or wet foods. Overall I would absolutely recommend this to anyone with goldens.

Oh the excitement when Urwin, our lovely Golden Retriever saw his new food! The taste test went very well, he clearly loves the large and chunky kibble. He has a slow feeder bowl and we water it down for him, the food disappears very quickly! It smells good and it is obvious, by his excitement, that he prefers it to his previous food. I like the fact it has quality ingredients which are specifically for his breed.

I was aware of Royal canin but didn't know too much about it so When I received this product I read the ingredient list and found they were really high quality with a great mean content .my dog can be fussy but once she tried these she kept going back to them with a wagging tail. She seemed the really enjoy them and tried to go into the big bag to help herself. Lol. I've found the hard kibble has helped keep her teeth clean and her coat is lovely and shiny, also the end product is firm and easy to pick up where as before she'd have quite soft poops. Overall I'd recommend product. My sof cant get enough of it.

Our dog has been absolutely loving her Royal Canin Golden Retriever dry food. The massive kibble pieces are unlike any food we've tried before and do a great job at cleaning her teeth! She tends to have an upset stomach on some foods but has been doing great on Royal Canin, probably due to the low fat content. We've been putting this food in puzzle toys, snuffle mats and her trusty slow feeder bowl and she laps it up every time. Overall, 5 stars.

Best choice we made moving our Retrievers onto this food. Their coat is so so shiny and they seem so happy in themselves. I think the prices on Petshop are great and always been happy.
