A charming, lively and good-tempered breed, the Labrador Retriever is both a popular family pet and a highly versatile working dog. Thanks to its intelligence, agility and keen sense of smell, it is often used as a guide dog or in search and rescue roles. ROYAL CANIN® Labrador Retriever Adult is specially formulated for Labrador Retrievers aged 15 months and over. Due to the breed’s legendary appetite, this formula contains an adapted calorie content with increased protein and reduced fat to help maintain a healthy body weight. This recipe supports the skin’s natural barrier function and helps maintain a healthy coat thanks to borage oil and essential fatty acids. Enriched with omega-3 fatty acids EPA, glucosamine and chondroitin, it also helps support healthy bones and joints. The exclusive kibble shape is adapted to the Labrador’s jaw and helps reduce the rate of food intake.
  • Helps maintain an ideal body weight.

Best dry dog food

by -

Max, our beautiful short haired Labrador has had Royal Canin dog food since he way a little pup, stating with the Puppy mix and now the Adult mix and he still loves it, health is spot on and his coat looks and feels great.
We occasionally add some cooked liver or a raw egg so he doesn’t get bored which he loves.

Good all round

The kibbles are of a good size and the quality of the product is excellent. The packaging means it is unlikely to be damaged and the food remains fresh.

I have used Royal Canin Labrador having been recommended by a vet. My last dog did very well on it and had a excellent life. My latest dog is now on it and I do not think I will change his diet.

This dog food is well liked, and scoffed each day, by our young labrador. No problems over 2 years. Reasonable price when purchased through Vetshop

We have been using Royal Canin Labrador specific for the last 16 years and 4 of our dogs have enjoyed it. Currently our 3 year old, Ebony, is on this and appears to be thriving. Our 11year old Purdie, has progressed to 5 years plus and is also doing well.

This food has been great for my Labrador! It helps maintain his weight, he's always excited for mealtime, and I feel good knowing it's formulated for his breed.

Perfect

by -

This food was perfect for my lab he loved the taste the shape and size were perfect His coat got glosser and general all round better health wise

He loves it!

by -

My lab was itching to test this! When the box arrived, his psychic nose was telling him that it was for him. There’s been no problems with his adapting to the new food. I'm pleased there has been no upset tummies or loose poops. In fact, his poops are reduced - his normal food 3 poops a day, Royal Canin 2 poops a day. He loves the large and chunky kibble. I use a slow feeding bowl and he chews them rather than inhaling! When I puts the kibble in his slow feeder bowl, the last bit is trapped in the grooves. His tongue wedges it in there, so I have to help him out - not my tongue, but fork instead!

Nutritious Labrador Food

by -

My labrador was very excited when the new food package arrived, his sensitive nose was working overtime at the smell. To me it smells reasonably palatable, which is a bonus! I gradually introduced the new food alongside his normal food to avoid any stomach issues. He absolutely loves this food, his tails wags before, during and after dinner time! There's been no problems with his adapting to the new food and in fact because the Royal Canin has larger kibble pieces than his usual food, it actually helps to slow down his eating. I would definitely recommend this food for labradors and will be looking at swapping his usual food for Royal Canin for Labrador Retrievers.
