Switched to Purina Pro Plan following veterinary treatment on a digestive pro plan option which our GSD couldn’t have shown more eagerness for.
Tried reverting to Royal Canin after the vet prescription diet and he wasn’t interested. After trying other alternatives bought this Pro Plan Puppy and somersaults have returned at meal times. Poo 💩 is firm healthy and consistent. He seems very satisfied.

We've been looking for a high protein calorie puppy food for our weimaraner boy. He's hit his skinny stage and won't put weight on. He has been on burns grain free which was fine until now. He always ate all his food but with this gradually being introduced to his bowl he goes mad for it! So far no stomach problems and his poo is solid. Can't comment on weight gain yet but with the calorie content I'd be very shocked if he didn't start to fill out. Delivery came a day earlier which was great.

I bought this product on the recommendation of several people for my GWP puppy, but unfortunely she did not do well on it, as she has a bit of a sensitive tummy.

I had been feeding Pro Plan to my two boxer pups for ten months until I finally realised that their constant allergies, lackluster coats, inconsistent appetites, stinking wind, and unusual cravings for eating cattle dung pats on a nearby farm were being caused by a poor diet. I changed to another brand recently made available here in Ireland and the UK, which contains more meat and no grain based additives, and already the dogs are looking and feeling better.

Please take time to investigate this dog food thoroughly before you feed it to your pets. Based on my experience I would consider Pro Plan to be an inferior product, pumped up by marketing and hype. If you check out the UK whichdogfood rating website you will read many similar opinions from other dog owners and also from expert analysis.

I accept that other reviewers here have rated this dog food very highly; I'm not sure why, as my experience has been poor.

We have used this product for our Labradoodle who is quite athletic, since we got her at 12 months old, she is now 13 months old and fit and healthy thanks to her diet.

My German Shepherd Dog is no longer a puppy. but he did enjoy pro plan and he never had any problems he all so had a great coat.
