Pro Plan Senior 7+ Neutered Longevis Turkey Dry Cat Food - 3kg

My cat Kitty is a 17 year old female who loves to eat a mixture of wet and dry food. However, unlike a lot of other cats she actually prefers to eat dry foods. So it was not particularly surprising that she took to her new Purina Pro Plan Sterilised Senior 7+ Longevis turkey flavoured food from the moment she first smelt it and hasn’t looked back since. The food comes in a small, oblong bite sized pieces, which are easy to swallow and I would describe the smell as “neutral”, dry biscuit smell, which is not at all unpleasant but still interesting enough to a cat. The food has been formulated to provide high digestibility and nutrient absorption, which is so vital for elderly cats and has no added colourants or flavourings. The bag itself (3kg), has a handy freshness seal at the top right corner, which is easy to re-seal, although I also put a peg through the inner edge of it, and a sturdy handle on the opposite side for ease of purring the food out.

My cat can be a fussy madam but she took to this food immediately. She looks like she enjoys eating it every mealtime. It seems to be good for her, her coat looks shiny and healthy and despite being 10 years old she’s bright and has lots of energy. The food is easy to pour from the packet and doesn’t have an overwhelming smell which is great as a couple of my kids can be sensitive to strong odours.

My cats are really fussy eaters but they loved the biscuits they are small enough for them to eat up no problem and cleaned their plates. My cats loved them that much that they thought everytime i went into the kitchen i would give them some and did quite a bit of meowing at the kitchen cupboard where i kept them.

My cat is a very fussy eater. I have tried many premium brands in the past, most of which sit in the bowl uneaten. As soon as I opened the Pro Plan bag, Izzy was immediately interested and proceeded to eat every piece of food she was given. I am very happy to have found top quality food containing great ingredients that I know will be benefitting my cat and one that my can is now craving. Izzy has put on a bit of weight now that she is eating properly.

My cat always have dry food out for when they want it and typically graze but don’t eat a lot. When I put this kibble down though they went straight to it and ate quite a lot and seemed to really enjoy it. I love to feel my cats with food that has benefits for their health as they are very important members of the family. I like that it’s a big size bag that will let them a good while.

Our 7.5 years old cat it's a big fan. I don't recall her ever being so happy next to her food bowl filled with dry food. She has finished everything each time and always looks for more. I'm really happy so far and hopefully our cat will to. It does state that it has been developed by a team of nutritionists and experts veterinarians which is always reassuring.

My 10 year old Fur Baby Is very happy with his new food (I'm especially happy with the size of the kibbles as there easier for him to eat) he's usually very fussy with his food, but I'm pleasantly surprised that he's enjoying each meal instead of him regularly turning his nose up to his food.. 've noticed a massive difference in his digestion and how much longer the food keeps him fuller for longer. I think I've now found a food that he's really happy with and It certainly seems that I may have seen an end to him turning up his nose to his food.

I love that this cat food is aimed at the older cat and offers many health benefits to him. My cat is 9 now so I feel its always important to look for food that not only does he like, but that offers him that little bit extra. On first opening the packet, my cat came running, he had a good sniff (apparently they smell good), nibbled a few biscuits then walked away. Im not sure if this means he doesnt like them, or is just being fussy currently - which is quite possible as we seemed to have created a diva! He has since gone back to them a few times and eaten some more. I know he will eat them all in his own good time. If only cats could talk! I would recommend the food, based on what it offers to the cat in terms of supporting his health.

My 8 year old cat has loved eating this so far. I have never seen her so enthusiastic about dry food before: I always put some (supermarket own-brand) dry food out for her and she rarely touches it. With this food, she literally cleans the whole bowl out! It looks healthy and good quality too, so I am very pleased with it.

because of the quality and flavour of this food, my cat swallows it down like he has never eaten before. he would not eat any other branded dry food apart from this one. i have also noticed how his health has improved in the fact that he is now more active and strong. it is also appropriate for his age.

My cat loves these treats! Big value for money.

Our cat is now a bit of an old lady and really enjoys this cat food, as the pieces are smaller than the younger cat version she finds it easier to eat. The service from Petshop is brilliant and the bottomless bowl subscription works very well!

My two cats Pea & Pod have been brought up on Pro Plan and I thought I'd try the senior 7+ varsity as they are now 11 ( they happily eat the normal version 1+ age) I have to say they both seemed to love it and my boy cat Pod woofed it down with gusto - So it gets 5 stars from them plus their friends who visit through the day when the doors are open!
