Despite their short legs, Dachshunds are very active and agile. That’s why adult Dachshunds need a diet that provides the nutrients required to meet their energy needs, in order to help maintain healthy levels of activity. ROYAL CANIN® Dachshund Adult contributes to supporting the Dachshund’s bones and joints, thanks to an adapted calcium and phosphorus content. This exclusive formula also helps your dog maintain good muscle tone and an ideal weight. ROYAL CANIN® Dachshund Adult also helps to reduce the smell and volume of your dog’s faecal matter. The unique kibble in ROYAL CANIN® Dachshund Adult is tailor-made to help reduce tartar formation, thanks to the inclusion of calcium chelators. Frank loves the food

My dog Frank tried royal canin dog food for the first time the other week and he couldn't get enough of it, he loves the taste and is always sat by the bag asking for more. I would highly recommend to other owners to buy and try this brand. We will be buying this product again.

Amazing for my pooch

Amazing product to review and my pooch loves it. Perfect ingredients too lots of meals in this 7.5kg bag I have stored it into a large food container for my dog and it has kept fresh and perfect. My dog used to have another well known brand and now I will definitely be switching to Royal canin.

Great size for little dog

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] My little maple is absolutely loving the royal canin dry food especially for dachshund's she mostly has dry food and freshly cooked chicken but she is really keen on it. The size of the bag for a little lady like her will last me a long while. Easy digested and so far no problems. Great big bag, easy to store and kept super fresh inside. Very highly recommended.

Dotty Loves it.

Gave this to my midi dachshund Dotty - admittedly she’s not very fussy but she ate it all immediately and was licking her lips afterwards. No digestive issues at all and I like the fact it’s catered specifically to the breed. Reasonable price for a big bag so me and Dotty both consider a very good product👍

Perfect

I've been feeding my Dachshund, Dotty, Royal Canin Dachshund food, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Her stool has been perfect since switching, which has given me confidence that it really suits her digestive system.
After reading about the benefits, I love that it's specially designed to support Dachshund joints and keep their coat healthy. Dotty's coat looks shiny, and she looks happy and healthy overall.
I also like the appearance of the kibble. It's not overly hard like some other brands, making it much easier for her to eat.
Overall, I would highly recommend Royal Canin Dachshund food to other Dachshund owners. It's made a real difference for Dotty, and I'm very pleased with the quality.

Dachshund loves this food!

The dog breeder swore by this food. After switching about for cheaper brands, our sausage dog often growled before eating. Not with this stuff and she eats it right away!

Smooth transition into adult food
