I was recommended to buy this by my vet for my rescue cat as he had gingivitis, (10 yr old) quite a bit of plaque and smelly breath. After using for 3 weeks daily on his breakfast the improvement is dramatic. Tartar is minimal, seems happier in eating wet, dry and treats even with two teeth missing! swelling and redness has reduced slightly too. One year on and improvements are continuing. I would highly recommend this for cats with tartar build up, bad breath/teeth problems, or as a preventative measure. Use every morning.
