Our boxer, Zola, is now nearly 9 years old and had slowed down a bit. Our vet recommended changing to food for "seniors" and she loves it. She has always been fed Pro Plan and she always has a glossy coat and like other reviewers this gets a lot of compliments. She has been on this one for a year or so now and is livelier on this food. Great service from this company, have ordered numerous times now and cannot fault them.

Order arrived super fast following message from my daughter saying they were running out (I’m stranded in New Zealand!). Thank goodness for internet shopping- I expected it to take longer as website said 7-10 days at the moment but it arrived quicker than last time I ordered amazing during such difficult times. Price on a par with other places but service quicker and I was able to track order to keep daughter posted of when to expect it. Keep up the good work - happy dog to have food she loves that doesn’t upset her tummy.

We have bought from the pro plan range since our lab (Baillie) was a pup, 10 years ago. He absolutely loves it. His coat has always looked so healthy and shiney, and passers by have always commented on this.never had any digestion or weight issues on this product and Baillie and ourselves would recommended it.

We have always fed our 11yr Lab on Proplan Large Breed Robust, since our vet recommended it because other brands frequently seemed to upset his stomach or he’d just outright refuse to eat them. He’s always thrived on it and so we’ve stuck with it. Now that he’s getting on a bit and slowing down, we decided to try him on the old dog’s version. He was a little hesitant to change to the slightly smaller kibble and we’ve had to blend it in with some of his old food but he now seems to be accepting it without a fuss. It appears to be doing what it claims on the pack as he seems to have perked up a bit! I’m so confident in it that I’ve now ordered another two bags. As usual, Petshop dispatched my order promptly and all arrived safe & sound. Great service.

My lab loves this food which she’s been on for two years. She has hip problems and the vet says she’s in great condition even tho on a strict diet. I put this down to her excellent diet.

Have not received this so cannot give a review. Have used other Purina products so was looking forward to my old dog trying this but WHERE IS IT? Gone walkabout maybe.

My trial pack (5kg) was enough to feed my Springer X Lab for about 10 days. Probably not long enough to find out if this would be have the advertised effects. My dog is not exactly a fussy eater, most food is consumed with relish, only celery is spat out in disgust! So yes, she did enjoy this food.
<br>The tests didn't help at all... Hide food anywhere, and she will find it - she IS a Springer after all! Letting her off a lead does not happen, a rescue with no recall training as a puppy, if allowed off lead, she would never be seen again! And greeting... Well she always went crazy when we come home. So no change there either!
<br>She may have been a little livelier after a couple of days on the food, but after the long hot summer we have had, it could have been the cooler weather that made her more active. I don't think a trial with just 5kg of food was really enough, and as the food is much more expensive than I would normally be able to pay, I was not able to buy the bigger pack to see for sure.

My dog George was introduced to PURINA® PRO PLAN® DOG 7+ food with OPTIAGE™ a month ago and I was surprised by the results to George's health and wellbeing.
<br>He is more excited now when I come in through the door after I've been out and is much keener to go out for a walk nowadays. His coat is looking shinier too. Taking into account these changes, I will keep feeding George this food

My 12 yo dog is often not interested in his food but this food he was happy to eat. I assume the correct size and texture of the pieces for an older dog plus the taste delivery when does eat it. Hopefully he’ll benefit from improved nutrition to keep him going much longer in comfort

I trailed this food on my energetic border collie, No two words-he loved it! Not a morsel wasted! His coat was so much brighter and shinier. His poo was so much better if you know what I mean!-easy to pick up.

my cocker spaniel enjoyed eating this food. it really seemed to perk him up quite a bit. he wanted to go on more walks than he usually did. i would recommend pro plan for any dog.

I was sent this Optiage as a trial and I could see the difference in my dog within 2 weeks, he is 12 years old and has started to slow down with arthritis but since eating this food he is much more lively and happy! He is like a puppy again thanks to Purina Optiage. I would highly recommend this food.

Brought this for my dog and the improvement in his digestion system has been amazing. This product was highly recommended by the vets and looking at other reviews it seems to help most elderly dogs

I honestly cannot believe a dog food could make such a difference to my ageing springer he has gone from old man to a boy in his prime. Back to his full mischievous ways aa well as the bright, alertness and a overall shine to his coat. Yes it's more expensive but for the sparkle and energy that your dog will show surely that's better that a sluggish uninterested dog with no zest for life, for me it was a no brained.

Our 8 year old Tank loves Pro Plan not only dose Pro Plan help give tanks coat body and shin, give him a bounce in his step and a lovely wet nose, he also really enjoys eating it and will without fail leave a empty bowl every time.
<br>Unlike other brands of dog food we have tried in the past Pro Plan has been kind on his tummy and the change over to Pro Plan was a breeze.
<br>Tank is a very hyper dog so I can’t say I noticed too much change in him in that way, but I would definitely say he’s more happy on Pro Plan and it definitely shows.
<br>Over all I would definitely say Tank loves Pro Plan and in return I have noticed a change in his behaviour and condition all round and would recommend Pro Plan to any one who’s thinking of making the change.

8 year old staffie Ringo has been trying Purina Pro plan with optitage for about a month now. I wasn't convinced upon starting this that there would be much of a change in him physically or mentally- just another marketing hype. As the month went on I was pleasantly surprised. He was excited when he could hear the bowl coming and every meal was finished pretty quickly. Living in a second floor flat,stairs can slow him down at times. He seems to be taking them in his stride not being so stiff and still being energetic once reaching the top. He has always been playful,just seems lately he has had that "little extra" about him. This has definitely been a him and will be continuing this food for future use,being something that isn't going to be braking the bank either. Big thumbs up all round.
