Wet Dog Food - If the dog is overweight, reduce food intake by 10%. If the dog looks underweight, increase food intake by 10%. Continue until the correct weight is achieved.

The recommended amount of canned food varies according to the dog's size and weight
- Toy breeds (1 to 5 kilograms) should be given between 0.25 and 0.5 cans.
- Small dogs (5 to 12 kilograms) need 0.5 to 1.5 cans.
- Medium dogs (12 to 25 kilograms) require 1.5 to 2.75 cans.
- Large dogs (25 to 45 kilograms) should receive 2.75 to 3.75 cans.
- Giant breeds (45 to 70 kilograms) need 3.75 to 5.75 cans.

We have used Canagan dry food for our two golden retrievers since they were puppies and have found it to be great. However, our youngest pup who is now three was never that interested in his food (unusual for a retriever). We decided to try some wet food on his dry food and it has made all the difference, he wolfs his food down just like his sister. The fact that it comes in so many different flavours ensures that he never gets bored.
