Royal Canin Feline Senior Ageing 12 + Dry Cat Food - 2kg Description & Review

Royal Canin Feline Senior Ageing 12 + Dry Cat Food - 2kg

Manufacturer's View

Ageing cats have different nutritional needs than their younger counterparts; that’s why it’s important to modify your cat’s diet as it ages, to ensure that those needs are being met and maintained. ROYAL CANIN® Senior Ageing 12+ is suitable for cats over 12 years of age and is specially formulated with the nutritional needs of your senior cats like yours in mind.

Some senior cats experience a slight decline in their senses of taste and smell as they age, this can typically lead to a loss of appetite and consequently a lower intake of food. ROYAL CANIN® Senior Ageing 12+ food has highly palatable kibble with a double texture (crunchy outside, soft inside) that helps stimulate a senior cat’s general appetite.

As cats get older, they require a diet that includes certain nutrients that help maintain their health through the natural ageing period. That’s why ROYAL CANIN® Senior Ageing 12+ contains a patented complex of antioxidants that support senior cats through the ageing process. Thanks to a moderate phosphorus level, ROYAL CANIN® Senior Ageing 12+ also helps to support healthy kidney function, which is highly beneficial in senior cats. ROYAL CANIN® Senior Ageing food contains a carefully-considered balance of minerals. This helps to support your cat’s urinary system and maintain overall urinary tract health.

To cater to each cat’s individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN® Senior Ageing 12+ is also available as wet food in either a delicious gravy or succulent jelly. If you’re considering mixed feeding, simply follow our feeding guidelines to ensure your cat gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit.

At ROYAL CANIN® we’re committed to providing nutritional solutions to your pet’s needs. All of our products undergo an extensive quality control process in order to guarantee the optimum quality of food as well as catering to its specific dietary requirements and lifestyle. This means that when your cat eats ROYAL CANIN® Senior Ageing 12+, it’s getting a complete and balanced diet.

Key Benefits:

Very good biscuits

Good quality cat biscuits at a very good price. The cats love them

Great product for older cats and a great price

by -

Great price for this, cheaper than everywhere else and fantastic service and delivery. We only use this product for our cat now, as she is a fusspot and turns her nose up at any other biscuit. We find these last a long time and are a consistently great product for our old girl.

He loves it! 👍

My 14 year old boy loves this dried food. I dread to think of the money I’ve wasted over the years trying out different senior cat foods, and always come back to Royal Canin.

Perfect for older cats

by -

Tried this food for an older cat that was finding her dried food too hard but wouldn’t eat wet food. This one is hard on the outside but softer inside. She took to it straight away- so I would higher recommend it - but also recommend that you have your cat checked by a vet for any dental issues if your cat shows these symptoms.

Best biscuits for aging cats.

by -

Royal Canin is a good dry food it is slightly softer than other cat biscuits so gentler on aging teeth, whiskey is healthy happy and playful at 12 yrs with a shiny coat she eats an even amount of biscuits and wet food they are the best biscuits for her.

A big success

My 12-year-old cat absolutely loves this product. She has a slightly sensitive tummy, but it's had no adverse effects at all. A definite hit!

A favourite

Our elderly cat - nearly 20 - loves these biscuits. Similar to Dreamies as they have a filling but they work out a lot less in price so excellent value.

Great!

My 13 year old cat absolutely loves this food! Third time I've ordered it too. It also helps her a lot because she has had a lot of problems before I tried this food the first time, and she kept going off her other food... But, I mix this food in with her other to get a variety of what she needs, and she eats them both, and she feels more content too. :)

<br>And she seems to love this more than her treats... oddly enough... Just happy that she is happy with it. :D

Very Good

My 18 year old cat loves it
